Ability: Jonathan's power is not natural to him. He gained this power through a process similar to how three people in the past gained theirs, through the use of a machine. Unlike some of those heroes or people, he has no control over his ability. His power is that of “Emotional Duplication.” Whenever Jonathan feels an extremely strong emotion, he gets painful stomach cramps, often keeling over in pain.

After a few seconds, an exact copy “jumps” out of him, being exactly identical to the original in every aspect but one. This clone or “Twin” is more emotional, sincere and honest than the original. The twin usually tells his original hurtful truths that the original has worked to forget and hide. The cloning does not change Jonathan at all, and he can even show these emotions on his own after his clone has come out.

There are downsides to this ability. While it can be used to do two activities at once, due to you having cloned yourself, you need to have inner peace and harmony with yourself to work well with the clone. This is because the clone has free will, and could even lead a separate life to you if it so chose to. This power can also result in the clone accidentally insulting someone and the original having to take the blame. This had gotten Jonathan into trouble several times.

Jonathan has been trained in the art of both unarmed combat and gun use. He is a brown belt in Tae Kwan Do, and a being adept at boxing. However, he is only good at using revolvers and pistols, not having a lot of mastery with guns. He has also become quite skilled in the use of acrobatics, taking lessons from several heroes. Also, due to his father putting him into a regime since he was twelve, Jonathan is at the peak of human strength and fitness. He can lift four hundred pounds with ease, and eight hundred lbs when he exerts himself fully, and he is at the peak of human stamina and endurance. All his other human attributes, such as speed, durability and healing are all at a normal human level. Only his strength, endurance and stamina are at the peak of human potential. Jonathan has also been taught how to free run, in case he ever pursues someone on rooftops.

Physical Description:
Jonathan is a tall man, standing at six foot in height and weighing two hundred pounds. His weight is due to his muscle mass, and while he is muscular, he is not incredibly bulky. He has black hair that has been described as being as dark as a raven, and he has blue eyes that have been described as piercing. He usually keeps his hair flat, or parted to the side.

Jonathan tends to wear formal clothes, usually a shirt and jeans with dress shoes or trainers. However, he will sometimes wear casual clothes, such as a t-shirt, jeans or track suit trousers, trainers, and a black or blue hoodie.

Personality:
Jonathan's personality is quite simple. He suppresses most of his emotions, resulting in him showing a fearlessness that can be called “Suicidal Insanity”. He is willing to fight, no matter what the odds are that he will survive. Jonathan is also said to be funny, always cracking jokes as part of his apparent fearlessness. Even in a life or death situation, Jonathan comes up with a witty remark or a stupid insult

However, gaining his power has changed Jonathan. He has become more serious, still cracking jokes but not as many. He has also begun to unsuppress his emotions. While he still appears to be fearless, it is not as pronounced as it used to be. He also will force himself to relive sad events in his mind, if he needs extra backup in a fight, as the sadness activates his powers. Like his father, Jonathan has a sense of pride and duty, not letting someone humiliate him and always aiding those that need his help.

History:
Jonathan Fury was born to Elektra and Nick Fury. They had worked together several times, and fallen in love. However, when they found out that they were having a baby, they married and began to give up their hero lives. As Jonathan grew up, Elektra and Nick were worried he would gain something from them. Elektra's powers for example, and Nick's infinity formula altered DNA. However, as he grew up their son never showed any sign of powers. For most of his life, it was a boring life. Nick was back in S.H.I.E.L.D, after he had become exonerated for the Secret Wars on Latveria, and Elektra was with S.H.I.E.L.D as well.

From the early age of twelve, Nick put Jonathan on a strict regiment that would use dieting and weight training to bring Jonathan to the peak of human strength, endurance, stamina and fitness. However, the training only worked on his strength, fitness, stamina and endurance. Jonathan was also trained Tae Kwan Do and boxing, as well as acrobatics and free running. All of these things were to make him into a more modern, yet slightly weaker super-soldier. By the time he was sixteen years old, Jonathan had developed peak human strength, fitness, endurance and fitness.

Four months after Jonathan turned sixteen, he went into S.H.I.E.L.D training, and due to his previous combat training, he flew through it with flying colours. He became a part time S.H.I.E.L.D agent. However, he was scared for his safety, despite his peak human abilities. He was offered to take part in a procedure with S.H.I.E.L.D that would give him a meta-human ability. Accepting it, Jonathan was rather surprised with his power. He had gained the power to clone himself once when he felt a particularly strong emotion. It has been eight months since then, and Jonathan is still a part time S.H.I.E.L.D agent, due to his age of seventeen and the fact he is still in high school. At school, he tries very hard to suppress his power, which is successful. Whenever it does begin to activate, he fakes being sick.
