Ability:
Cassie has inherited the super-powers of her father, the Human Torch.
The main power associated with the Human Torch, is of course, him being able to envelop his body in flame - or a fiery covering - with no harm to himself. Cassie also has this ability. It allows her to fly and create flame 'balls' of fire which she can direct.
Unlike her father she has the ability to manipulate flames - to a certain extent. She can create fiery creatures to sen after opponents - or usually, just create for fun and tricks. But this takes up a lot of her energy. She, like her father, can also control fires that are within her site range - making them increase or decrease with size.
Her ability also allows her to absorb fire/plasma without getting hurt.
She hasn't experimented too much yet with just how fast she fly or the heat of her flames.
Though she has a good degree of control over her powers, she is still learning at times accidentally sets things on fire by sending out bursts of flame. The quantity of oxygen available in an area controls the flames she creates as well - and a good dose of water would put out her flame.

Physical Description:
Cassie is tall for her age, with a slim body. She looks fragile at times - until you see her covered in flame, of course. she has striking blue eyes and long blonde hair that frames her face. Cassie is quite fond of messing with her hair.
The clothes she wears are usually pretty plain. Though at times she likes to stand out, she doesn't want to stand out because of her clothes.
Personality:
Cassie is a bright girl with a slight talent for mischief. She's usually pretty reckless, and impulsive and at times she can think only of herself. She has big plans and big ideas - though most never work out.
But that isn't to say she's entirely selfish, or not clever. She's loyal to those she trusts and if someone needs some help then she'll help. If she can have a bit of fun when doing that... then even better, but if there's no chance of that she'll do it just the same. And she has a brain she uses frequently - she's intelligent enough when she wants to be. Cassie is just a little impatient usually, but she's working on that.
Though she seems wild and causes trouble quite a bit, she never intentionally hurts anyone. She likes being close to others and sharing things. Her family is the most important thing in her life, and her close-close friends. Though not everyone in her family gets along - for reasons she doesn't usually think about - she tries to keep in contact, or at least in good terms with them. Especially with her brother.

History:
Cassandra Storm is the first daughter and second-born child of the Human Torch, Johnny Storm. As a child, she grew up with her family - when they weren't off on some sort of mission of some sort. Cassie knows what a family is, and that's important. She grew close to her father, and even as a young child would often try to impress him. (This has died down in later years, but she's still pretty happy when she receives praise from him).
As her father was very close with Peter Parker, and Peter's son was born not long before she was, Cassie grew up with young Ben Parker. Often it would be him she'd go to when she had an idea, because the smart cookie she was, she knew she'd always need help. After 13 years, Cassie values her friendship with Ben highly.
Now at Xaviers Institute, she hopes to learn more about... Anything and everything. She wants to be able to have a better control over her power, and to just be a part of something larger.
