HERSHEL ZEMO47 years old, supervillain, Baron Zemo, single I'll never see any sign of heaven I walk for miles through a blazing hell It doesn't matter what you think I'm supposed to be; Because I myself know all too well... Baron Hershel Zemo is the son of former Baron Helmut Zemo and ex-Thunderbolt Melissa 'Songbird' Gold. He has spent almost all his life in seclusion, gradually changing from an innocent child into a slimy, deranged genius, twisted both by illegal sciences and the biased teachings of his father. He has been genetically engineered to physically exceed any other regular human, and commands numerous deep-cover cells of the HYDRA super-terrorist outfit. Friends:Zemo's nature makes him a hard man to like, and he does not often meet another man or woman he deems worthy of treating as an equal. However, he is under no delusions of his own limits, and will court others into pacts of allegiance as he sees fit, lying through his teeth expertly all the way. Whether these alliances remain long-term is entirely down to the competence of Zemo's chosen partner(s)...and whether or not they die in his name. Enemies:Captain America. His dad hated Captain America, his grandad hated Captain America...in fairness, they were Nazis, so what do you expect? Hershel isn't really a Nazi - he was born into the wrong decade for that to happen - but he knows of how both past Captains (Steve Rogers and Bucky Barnes) repeatedly undermined the goals of his predecessors, and he takes family loyalty and honour very seriously. Beyond that, Zemo has the means and the attitude to make himself the enemy of the entire free world. Because he doesn't want a world that is 'free'. He wants it in chains, and nicely manageable. Lovers:As said before, there are few whom Zemo would consider as an equal to himself, or at least only inferior to a degree that he would not object to being seen with them. That being said, were he to find one, he would go to any lengths to earn their trust and loyalty. He's surprisingly romantic at heart - for what good is it being king of the world without a queen by your side?

Fred and Zemo
Okay, this could be tricky. I have a feeling they would run into each other at some point, but under what circumstances I'm not sure. Fred is part of the brotherhood - however her ideal isn't the destruction of all humans as some of her mutant partners preach, just a place where she won't be judged. So... It's hard to say. xD She doesn't really make very many enemies, but unless she can be charming enough for a long period of time, I don't know if they'd be friends either. If they met without Fred knowing who Zemo was, and his world domination-y plans, then she might just try to be polite and get along with him - she tries to do that with most people (which causes many to question her involvement with the brotherhood, she's really only there cuz Mystique talked to her before the X-Men).
So yeah... Any ideas? I think it could be interesting as maybe a light roleplay thing. Nothing really serious just.... yeah. xD

Well I have a few characters but I suppose I'll narrow it to those who would most likely meet Hershel Laura and Hershel Well Laura van Dyne is an Avenger and the eventual love interest of Captain America so Hershel could use her to get to Captain America. She might even be a formidle opponent in her own right with her powers and training. But these two would be definite enemies Nessa and Hershel Nessa is a neutral character and the daughter of Loki. So these two might be somewhat allies. Nessa has a thing against Asgard and their allies which includes the Avengers so maybe these two might form some sort of alliance. Gwendolyn and Hershel Gwen is the avatar for the Phoenix force so she would definately be a good weapon for someone. She is also a telepath something that could come in handy, maybe Hershel could try to manipulate Gwen into being a weapon or something, depends on what ideas you have planned.

Fred and Zemo:I'm currently toying in my head with how Hershel views the Brotherhood as a whole; being a scientifically-augmented human, he has little to no bias against mutantkind, and would no doubt see the value in having them as allies. On the other hand, he's also quite good at 'reading' people, so he'd probably advise Max to keep a close eye on Fred if her loyalty seems to be wavering. Bottom line, Zemo wouldn't trust her because she isn't 100% devoted to the cause. Laura and Zemo:It would be pretty dastardly of Hershel to posit himself as a spanner in the works of Laura and Steve's relationship...which of course means it's a good idea and totally in-character for him. Beyond that, though, they're definitely enemies. Nessa and Zemo:It'd be nice for these two to work together on some level, in tribute to Heinrich Zemo's frequent partnership with Enchantress and Executioner (they formed the original Masters of Evil together, and created Wonder Man). Hershel knows enough about Asgard and its denizens to show Nessa due respect, and would gladly aid her however he can in exchange for a little trickery here and there. Heck, he might even become quite smitten with Nessa, though that would probably all end in tears. Gwen and Zemo:Zemo's always looking out for a new crazy superweapon, and yup, the Phoenix Force fits that bill very well indeed. Though he may have heard how badly things tend to work out when the Phoenix gets involved, Hershel's just about mad enough to think he can control it through sheer force of will. As for Gwen, well, she's not really important, so Zemo would treat her like garbage. Steve and Zemo:Ahem.
