MOLLY GWEN HAYES
Name: Molly Gwen Hayes
Age: 20
Gender: Female
~~~~~
Codename: Bruiser.
Ability:
Molly Hayes has the power of super-strength. From a young age she was able to topple monsters bigger than skyscrapers, tunnel through miles of rock, and with the help of a little bit invulnerability, had solid objects broken over her head.
At first she was only able to use this power for a short period of time before becoming so drained she had to sleep. Now, she is able to go on for much longer, though if she uses too much power she will become tired much quicker.
Her strength is unable to conquer two things: Adamantium and unbreakable Majesdanian bonds.
Also, much like her telepathic parents, she has some degree of telepathy. It is very weak, but she is able to communicate with others by a mind-to-mind link. They have to be relatively close for this to work properly.
Molly has the ability to turn her powers on and off. She is conscious of when she uses them. When her powers are 'activated' her eyes glow a pink-purple colour.
Group: Runaways
~~~~~
Status: Good
Occupation: No Job. She's a superhero, who needs a job?
Physical Description:
Growing up, her hair has darkened slightly, now a dark shade of brown. It's still very long, flowing past her shoulders. Her eyes are an auborn colour and her skin is fairly pale. She likes to wear comfy clothes - sometimes that means dresses, but usually that means shorts and t-shirts. She's still like a little kid. She also still loves to wear hats. Molly still has the large collection she obtained whilst she was growing up and is always looking to add more to the collection.
Personality:
Molly hasn't changed much since she first joined the Runaways.
She is enthusiastic, and loves to be involved with everything going on. She is over-friendly and has no trouble talking to new people. Stranger danger? She has super strength, it's not as though much could happen... Right?
Most of the time, she is impulsive and doesn't think too much about what happens as a consequence of her actions. Molly is a child at heart and at play. Though most people can be put off by her constant stream of chatter, and push her away, she is trusting and loyal. Once a friend of Molly's, always a friend of Molly's. She takes traitors badly, and doesn't understand why anyone would betray those close to them.

History:
Molly grew up normally with her mother and father in a richer part of Los Angeles. She didn't know about her parents powers, or about the fact that they worshipped the Gibborim, and ruled Los Angeles. What she did know, was that her parents were very close with six other families, and once a year she would go with them to the Wilder's estate and play with their kids whilst the parents went and did something secret. All in all, she led a happy life - only waiting for the next Harry Potter book to arrive, or to find a new hat to add to her collection.
Then, one year, whilst at the Wilder estate, the kids of the other members (all years older than Molly) witnessed their parents sacrificing an innocent girl. This led to the idea of running away, and as the gang tried to get Molly out, her powers of Super Strength emerged. She immediately went for Leslie Dean who was hurting Gert and punched her into the sky. The group then set out into the big, bad world. Molly continuously thought of it as a big adventure, something fun, and out of all the Runaways she is the only one to ever truly miss her parents. During the time spent away she became close to the Runaways in different ways, and delighted in their little crime-fighting activities, as the kids tried to atone for their parents mistakes.
But the happiness wasn't to last as soon the kids came face to face with their parents, and in the battle, the parents were blown up. Shortly after, the Runaways were found by the Avengers and put into care homes. Molly was sent to an X-Corp branch. Life there wasn't particularly cheerful, though molly, ever the optimist and ever the little girl, remained happy and kept her up-beat attitude until Gert broke her out and the group were on the run again. At this point, Molly suffered a huge loss - as did all the Runaways - as they lost Gert. Molly viewed her as an older sister, and aside from Chase, Gert was the only one who took a lot of time out to answer Molly's endless questions and to listen. The Runaways fell further apart, and things were rocky for a long time. Molly was able to keep up a happy act, but when no one else was about she would talk to a picture of Gert, and even programmed the Leapfrog (Runaways transport) to say that Gert was in heaven.
During one mission, Molly was kidnapped by The Provost, and was sent into the sewers where she found several other kidnapped kids who were being used as thieves by the Provost. Scared, and alone, Molly had to fight her fears and rally the other children into a rebellion. She showed a lot of maturity and growth, and eventually, was able to escape the Provost's clutches and return to her friends safely.
During the Civil War, the Runaways ran into the Young Avengers. At first, Molly attacked the group thinking they were with S.H.I.E.L.D. but after using too much of her power she grew tired and fainted. After waking, Molly developed an attachment to Speed - mainly because his hair stood out to her and he could blow things up. Whilst the pair went off to muck about, the others left behind were attacked - and Xavin was taken away as well as Billy from the YA. After the pair was taken back, the Runaways had to deal with losing Gert once and for all.
Molly's life then took another twist, as the Runaways were thrown back in time, where they were put in the middle of a mutant war. There, Molly ran into the abused girl Klara Plast. She convinced the girl - who was Molly's age and a mutant - to join the group. After getting caught up in a battle they managed to escape and all goes well for the young Runaways, as they start to build up a life.
Then, the Secret Invasion of the Skrulls began. Whilst the Young Avengers appeared once more, Klara and Molly were both left out of the fighting, as Tommy sped the pair away.
After this Molly continued to work and stay with the Runaways. She grew up fighting, but surrounded by friends. At the age of twenty, she's still in touch with all of the friends she made - and the Runaways are still going strong. And y'know, if the Young Avengers, now the Avengers ever turn up to help... Well, that's good to see Speed, uhm, She loves all of 'em. Hehe.
