- Peak Human Strength; Fully rested, Steve has the strength of an Olympic athlete. He can bench press 1,100lbs, curl 500lbs, and overhead press 800lbs.
- Peak Human Speed; Steve can run at a speed of 30mph for up to an hour and a half without showing signs of exhaustion. When pushed, this speed can increase to up to 60mph, but he can only sprint for around a minute at this speed.
- Peak Human Agility; From a standing start, Steve can jump 20 feet into the air. He is extremely dexterous and has top notch balance as well. His reflexes are also honed to the point that he can dodge gunfire, even at close range.
- Peak Human Senses; Steve’s senses of touch, taste, sound, hearing and scent are all the best they can possibly be without being considered superhuman.
- Peak Human Durability; Because his bones and muscles are now far stronger than before, Steve can withstand more punishment than a normal human, and can do so with only minor discomfort.
- Peak Human Healing; Due to the fact that his white blood cells are also more durable than the average human’s, they can fight off hostile microbes quicker and more efficiently than usual, thus, healing Steve faster.
- Peak Human Mental Processing; Steve has perfect recall and an eidetic memory, meaning that if something happens, no matter how minor, he never forgets it. His mental processing is so efficient that he can identify and counter threats in the space of a few seconds, even in the middle of a fight.
In addition, the SSS has slowed his aging due to the abundance of healthy cells in his body. It is thought that he could remain in his current state – a man in the prime of his life – indefinitely.
In addition to the powers the SSS granted him, Steve has a number of abilities that do not count as superhuman.
- Master Martial Artist; Steve is well trained in boxing, ju jitsu, judo, wushu and historical fencing. He is also well known for his proficiency using a shield, both in offensive and defensive manoeuvres, as well as the ability to throw it and catch it like a boomerang. Whilst he does not usually compliment his shield techniques with a weapon, he is capable of using a variety of blunt and bladed weapons when the situation calls for it.
- Expert Marksman; Whilst he is not on the level of a few others, Steve has had practise with, and is adept at using, a range of projectile weaponry. It is not his style to use firearms, but he can if pressed to do so.
- Master Strategist; Steve’s long years of military training and his experience in battle make him a master of tactics and strategies. His enhanced mind can process viable solutions to problems extremely quickly, and his analytical thinking means that he is ready for almost any situation. He is also well versed in almost any system of military operations, including decoding ciphers, demolitions and survival amongst others.
- Multiligual; Steve can speak German, Russian, Japanese and Italian fluently, in addition to English.
- Skilled Artist; It may not be his chosen career, but Steve has natural artistic talent – one that he both enjoys and practises in his spare time. He occasionally freelances as an illustrator for publications when there is nothing else for him to do.
- Strong Willed; Steve is so dedicated to the idea of freedom for everyone, that he is almost completely immune to any sorts of temptations or mind control, including brainwashing and telepathy. Physical Description:
Steven is around 6’3 in height and around 260 pounds in weight of pure muscle. Steven has been able to get into tremendously good shape with his time in the police force and the fact that he wanted to keep himself in pretty good shape. Steven has short brown hair that he tries hard to keep short and out of the way of his face as otherwise it isn’t practical for work and it doesn’t look good. Steven also has powerful green eyes, they are normally filled with kindness or laughter when he is with his friends however when he is in work they have been called dangerously serious and claims that his stare captures people as he scrutinizes them are not exaggerated.
Steven has one tattoo on his chest, that of a red square with a face on that had been on a Bon Jovi album called have a nice day. The square has a face on it with eyes, a nose and a cocky smile that had been drawn by Jon Bon Jovi that Steven liked, the tattoo is about 15 inches long and 7.5 inches wide in diameter on the left side of his chest.
Personality:
Steve’s personality is a very basic one. He is a hero, he does what is best for the people of the world and will always put the people before himself, he doesn’t think about his own safety because of the fact that because of how he had been told his father had acted, he would always not even consider stopping or thinking about the actions that he was doing when it could cause harm to himself because he wants to help people, if he didn’t want to help people then he wouldn’t have been a hero. Steve is also someone that is not going to give up or change his mind, he is also very stubborn, once he has made a decision he will stick to it.

History:
Steve James Barnes is the only child of James ‘Bucky’ Barnes and Natasha Romanova, better known as Captain America and Black Widow two key members of the avengers. Steve was brought up a secret to the American government, this was because of the fact that Bucky feared that they would see Steve as a way of continuing the super soldier tradition within their family, even though Nick Fury knew of the existence of his son, he thought that his close friend would keep the secret. Nick always did keep the secret of the existence of Natasha and Bucky’s son. Steve had a very normal and expected childhood.
Growing up in Detroit and away from Washington, under a false name and with people that Bucky and Natasha trusted Steve was given the childhood that both of his parents feared that they wouldn’t have been able to give him, however they did visit every chance that they got and he was told who they where. However they had told him that because of the fact that they where superheroes they could not be openly seen to have children. Not just for the fact that they could be used against each other, for example Steve being used as bait. But more importantly, it made sure that Steve was under the radar enough that the government wouldn’t seek him out.
From the age of 12, his parents began training him everything that they knew, simply because of the fact that Steve had been saying from the age of 7 that he wanted to be like daddy and be Captain America. At the age of 14 Steve had become proficient in a number of martial arts as well as fighting with a shield. His parents had yet to teach him weapon training. At the age of 25, Steve found out that the super soldier project had been reopened because of the fact that the government felt that more heroes where needed. Steve then joined up and became a super soldier. Steve now works for SHIELD and working with the avengers for protecting the general public. At the age of 30 Steve became the director of shield.
