Martin Findlay-Lewis is an illegitimate son of former X-Man James 'Logan' Howlett a.k.a. Wolverine and an English woman named Diana Lewis. He has no known super-abilities, but is commonly regarded as one of the smartest and most influential men on the planet today.
Friends:
Martin has worked tirelessly to project a good image of his company, Chrysalis, in the media, and although he doesn't like to be seen as the face of the company too much, this does mean that the average person thinks of him in a fond light. Additionally, he has helped both the X-Men and Avengers financially over the years when things grew tight for them, and so enjoys a good relationship with the senior members of the superhuman society in general. That, plus he has a fantastic poker face; even when talking to someone he harbours intense dislike for, Martin is able to behave so courteously that only telepaths would ever guess his true feelings.
Though he wouldn't call her this, his 'best friend' is Anna Danvers a.k.a. Warbird. As well as being the spokeswoman for Chrysalis, she's also the only other person alive that Martin ever openly discusses his long-term plans with. He trusts her with more or less everything. With everyone else, he usually has to lie about one thing or another, sometimes for their own protection.
Enemies:
As stated above, Martin has done his best to make sure the world at large thinks of him only in positive terms. However, part and parcel of running a big company is competition, and Chrysalis' ventures into technology have made Martin a thorn in the side for the current heads of Stark Industries. Martin keeps things civil between himself and his opposite numbers, but he still expects corporate espionage funded by the Starks to undermine him - and he's never denied using such measures against them in turn, either. Additionally, given his rejection of his birth-father, Martin has no doubt made himself a potential target for reprisals from Wolverine's other sons, whoever and wherever they may be.
Lovers:
Due to his intense focus and lonely lifestyle, Martin has yet to have any meaningful relationships, and the tabloids have never run any stories on booze-fuelled one night stands involving him either. In fact, the only reason people (correctly) believe him to be heterosexual is a snippet from the launch of a Chrysalis-constructed military 'Hovercarrier' several years ago, where - in response to a prying question - Martin admitted to having "massive crushes" on both Jubilation 'Jubilee' Lee and Jennifer 'She-Hulk' Walters during his adolescence.
