Ability: As the son of Peter Parker and Felicia Hardy, Ben has inherited some of his father's powers, and one of his mother's powers. He has the proportionate strength of a spider, able to lift five tons when exerting himself and when he is at his peak. He is able to run at a speed that is only half of his father's, and his agility, reflexes and balance are only at half of his fathers. The one power that is similar to his father's in power is his Spider-Sense. This is due to his father training him to use it since he discovered his powers.

While it appears he gained his father's powers only, he did inherit one of his mother's powers. Ben inherited his mother's feline claws. This compensates for the fact he did not inherit his father's ability to wall-crawl. This allows him to wall-crawl through the use of his claws. However, Ben does have one power his vfather does not. Due to his powers coming in early, Ben has developed organic spinnerets in his forearms recently, able to fire it and utilize it in the same way that his father used to. His father has also trained him in the same way he used to.

However, Ben does have weaknesses, many of them related to his father's own weaknesses, and some entirely new. Ben is susceptible to the pesticide Ethyl Chloride, which is a side effect of his mutation. Most of his powers are also at half of his father's potential, making him weaker in battle than his father is, and since he does not have some of his father's powers, he is not as reliable as Spider-Man, and he can get injured easier. His Spider-Sense can be disrupted, if it is blocked or temporarily weakened by specialized equipment or certain drugs. It also won't trigger if it detects something that isn't registered as a threat like his parents or friends. Finally, Ben's organic webbing has only recently come in and it can run out, due to the spinnerets still developing, and this forces him to use some of his dad's old web-shooters at times. His wall-crawling is not as well developed as his fathers, due to it being cat-claws he uses.

Ben has also developed a fighting style similar to his father's, though it is not as effective, due to Ben's weaker abilities. However, Ben is just as skilled as both his parents in acrobatics, displaying such flexibility that it is had to believe he is only thirteen. He has also been trained in stealth by his mother, as she thought it was a good talent to have. Ben is also a gifted student, never getting anything lower than a B+.

Physical Description:
Ben is a bit above average in height for his age, standing at five foot eight. He is a bit pale, as his father was at his age, but it is not enough to make him appear sick or anything. He has brown hair and brown eyes, which are described as being a beautiful shade of brown. Ben is also slightly muscular, not appearing incredibly muscular, but he has defined muscles, due to his strength and the fact he works out a bit.

Ben's dress sense alternates between a formal dress sense and a casual one. He usually wears a shirt with all the buttons buttoned up, a blazer, and jeans, as well as dress shoes for class. However, while he does dress formal, Ben also wears t-shirts, jeans and trainers outside of class. He also wears a pendant his mom and dad gave him, which has a picture of him as a baby being held by his parents. Despite only being thirteen, Ben has a makeshift version of his dad's costume, which is the shirt of one of Peter's old red and blue Spider-Man costume shirts, black and red trousers, and his dad's old black costumed mask, as well as the black boots. He has not worn it yet though.

Personality:
Ben is usually seen as one thing, and that one thing is a nerd. However, this is only because he has inherited his fathers intelligence, and he tries to downplay his intelligence, but with no results. Despite his nerd status, Ben is also fun and a bit of smart mouth, traits he shares with both his parents, though his mother is more fun than smart mouthed. Ben usually is only smart mouthed around people who annoy him or insult him in some way. Finally, Ben finds it easy to make friends, though his best friend is Cassie Storm.

However, Ben does have some negative personality traits and some personality weaknesses. One negative trait is that he can be secretive, keeping things from people if he deems it appropriate. His other negative trait is that he blames himself if something he was involved in ends badly, showing he has a sort of survivors guilt or self blaming complex. The personality weaknesses are similar to his dads, as he is quite moral and he takes blame for something if someone in an incident he was involved causes trouble, or someone he feels responsible for causes trouble. Ben is also jealous of his father, aspiring to become more like him as he gets older, and trying to see if he will develop powers that his dad has but he does not.

History:
While Peter Parker and Mary Jane Waston-Parker had a solid and loving marriage, and a daughter, Peter still continued his superhero career. He worked with Felicia Hardy continuously, and by the time May Parker was five, Peter and Mary Jane had drifted apart, and Peter had fallen for Felicia, and she for him. Within a few months of May's 5th birthday, Mary Jane and Peter had divorced, and the hero eloped with Felicia in Vegas on a trip. However, a few weeks after the honeymoon, Felicia discovered something. She was pregnant, and both her and Pete were overjoyed. Despite the pregnancy being hard, she continued with it. And after nine months, Benjamin Richard Parker was born. The godfather of Benjamin is Flash Thompson, and his god mother is Betty Brant.

Benjamin was loved by both of his parents, but they continued their careers as heroes. However, they had a rota on which nights they went out, and as Spider-Man was better known than the Black Cat, Felicia spent four out of seven nights at home with Benjamin, or “Benjy” as they affectionately called him. While Ben appeared normal, Felicia and Peter were both worried that he might develop either of their powers, as Felicia's body had recently mutated back into her old Cat-like powers. For the first ten years of his life, Ben appeared normal, like his half sister May, who he occasionally saw. She loved her half brother, even if he wasn't her full brother. Since his father was also close to Johnny Storm, Ben became best friends with Johnny's daughter, Cassandra “Cassie” Storm.

Six months after he turned ten years old, Ben discovered he did in fact have super-powers. He first discovered he could run at super-human speeds, when he was being chased by some bullies from school. After that, the rest of his powers started to come in. He found he was able to lift one ton when he exerted himself, and 800 lbs when exerting himself at half his capacity. He also found out his equilibrium, agility, and reflexes were all enhanced to super-human levels. He also discovered he had a precognitive sense, a “Spider-Sense” similar to his dads. However, he had not inherited several of his dad's powers, such as wall-crawling, super-human durability and stamina, and the accelerated healing factor. Ben also found out that he had inherited his mother's claws, allowing him to compensate for his lack of the Spider ability of wall-crawling.

It has been three years since then, and Ben has increased some of his powers from the level they were at when he was ten. His strength has increased to 5 tons, but he sometimes uses only 800 lbs of that strength. His Spider-Sense is just as powerful as his father's was when he first gained it. Ben has joined the Alpha Squadron team, and he has gone to Xavier's school so he can learn to use his powers better. During the three years he had gained a better degree of control over his powers, both Peter and Felicia taught there son valuable skills, such as stealth like his mothers, a fighting style similar to his dads, and an acrobatic skill similar but weaker to theirs, being at a skilled level. Ben has also developed spinnerets in his arms, allowing him to generate organic webbing. He still needs to use web-shooters at times, as his spinnerets are not fully developed.
